We have stayed in many Dormy Inn Hotels across Japan, and all of them did not disappoint us. Their onsen is great, and they also provide free ice cream, yakult and supper. This Dormy Inn Hotel is located beside Canal City shopping mall and is walkable to Hakata and Tenjin (we walked many times). However, if you are tired from walking, there's a train station (Kushida shrine station) right in front of the hotel. This hotel is also a 15min drive away from the airport.
1. Service was great. I have 2 separate booking. One booking in twin room and another in queen room. The reception allowed me to check out at 12pm and arrange me to move to the queen room at 12pm without waiting till 3pm check in time. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness. 2. Onsen, supper ramen, ice pops & yakults are great additional. 3. Location is pretty good as it is 10 mins walk to Hakata station

The room was quite compact, with limited space to fully open luggage.
The hotel is located in the heart of Hakata & we can walk to Nakasu Yatai, Tenji & Hakata station. Room is new & reasonably spacious in the city. There are free ramen at night & yogurt drinks in the morning. The breakfast is good as well.
We have to leave the car in the hotel carpark in which getting the cars from the rack is a bit difficult. Overall the staff is helpful

Onsen go crazy & the Check-in staff went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. They even used a translator to make sure I understood everything.

the room was very small and compact. The shower and toilet shared a small stall. i really felt like i was back on a cruise ship!
